The BC treaty negotiations process and modern treaties are comprehensive and complex, aiming to provide answers to some of the biggest questions about reconciliation and certainty in BC; however, for many students this can lead to more questions.
In addition to the resources offered by the BC Treaty Commission, there are numerous government, school district and non-government organizations that provide relevant teaching guides, tool-kits, and other educational resources.

The Treaty Commission encourages the public and educators to reach out to local First Nations to build relationships that can provide insights into a path to reconciliation, inclusive of their vision, and your shared role in advancing it.
